Former pastor of Coal Township, Trevorton to preach in Mt. Carmel

Fr. Phil Burger, pastor of St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey and former pastor of Our Lady of Hope Church in Coal Township and St. Patrick Church in Trevorton, is preaching the annual Eucharistic devotions at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 47 S. Market St., Mount Carmel on Sunday, Monday and with the Solemn Closing on Tuesday. All the services are at 7:00 p.m.

The themes of the homilies are, Sunday, "Who is in Control?," Monday, "Forgiveness: A Way of Loving," and Tuesday, "Reaching Out." All the children of the parish, including high school, are requested to bring a written prayer, tied with a string, to place in the basket before the altar in the procession.

All are invited to attend.
