COAL TOWNSHIP - Scoutmaster Joan Gane and Cubmaster Derek Scicchitano said Scouts find it difficult to find areas to use without having to travel several hours. They said they are grateful to the Fairview Gun Club for allowing St. John's United Church of Christ Cub Scout Pack 3254 and Boy Scout Troop 254 to use club grounds for camping, hiking and to earn badges.

Scouts enjoyed a day at the club pond helping to plant trees followed by hot dogs cooked over an open fire provided by the club.

Participating, in addition to Gane and Scicchitano, were Scouts Aaron Jones, Dallas Scicchitano, Tyler Searls, Gaige Johns, Tate Chamberlain and Kalob Maschuck.
