COAL TOWNSHIP - Police were searching a wide area Sunday evening for the driver and possible other occupants of a car that rolled over on Route 125.

The accident occurred about 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Route 125 and Point Breeze Road, near the top of the mountain between Gowen City and Burnside.

The car apparently went out of control while traveling toward Shamokin, went off the right side of road, hit a culvert and flipped. It landed on its roof on the berm of the highway.

The temperature was in the low 20s Sunday evening, with wind chills nearing the single digits.Etricis; nostisse coenihi,
