BLOOMSBURG - Kimberly A. Duffy, of Riverside, graduated from Bloomsburg University with a master's degree in nursing administration and a master's degree in business administration. She graduated with an overall grade-point average of 3.67.
While a graduate student, she was inducted into Phi Kappa Psi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline honor society. Standards for election are extremely high. Membership is by invitation only to top 10 percent of graduate students.
In 2000, she obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing from Bloomsburg University.
Duffy is a member of the Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders. She is certified in pediatric nursing, and plans to obtain her nurse executive board certification in the spring. She is currently an RN operations manager at the Janet Weis Children's Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She is a daughter of Bill and Cathy Bloom, of Mount Carmel.
