SHAMOKIN - The following hearings took place Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III. Defendants ordered to appear for plea court Feb. 25 in Northumberland County Court, Sunbury, can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.
n Jonathon R. Dombrowski, 24, of 241 S. Fourth St., Shamokin, waived to court charges of possession of a prohibited weapon and selling or using illegal solvents involving a Jan. 5 incident at his residence.
The charges were filed by Shamokin Cpl. Darwin Tobias III.
n Dustin Jack Keefer, 24, of Kulpmont, waived to court charges of possession with intent to deliver Clonazepam, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of drug paraphernalia adulterating or misbranding a controlled substance, false reports to police, retail theft and disorderly conduct relating to a March 10 incident at the former Uni-Mart on East Sunbury Street.
The charges were filed by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II.
Keefer also waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle involving the March 13 theft of a 1996 Subaru station wagon owned by Robert Ferrick from 214 E. Sunbury St.
Siko filed the charges.
n Nicholas H. Neff, 60, of 748 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, waived to court two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, failure to drive in a single lane, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving in connection with a Nov. 16 accident on Route 890 at the top of Trevorton Mountain in Zerbe Township.
The charges were filed by Trooper Mark Adams of state police at Stonington.
n Renee Blugis, 43, of 1005 E. Dewart St., Shamokin, waived to court charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and driving at an unsafe speed relating to a two-vehicle accident Oct. 7 at the intersection of Route 61 and Reading Turnpike Road in Shamokin Township.
The charges were filed by Trooper Marc Yemzow of state police at Stonington.
n Christopher M. Clark, 25, of 804 N. Washington St., Shamokin, and Bryan Knowles, 21, of 28 W. Willow St., Shamokin, waived to court charges of criminal trespass, criminal conspiracy, terroristic threats, possessing an instrument of crime, reckless endangering another person, two counts of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment/stalking.
The charges filed by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II relate to an Oct. 9 disturbance at 514 Bear Valley Ave.
Corey J. Feese, 22, of 530 Bear Valley Ave., Shamokin, was held for court on the same charges involving the same disturbance.
n Skylar Dornsife, 18, of 615 E. Webster St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty to harassment and was ordered to pay a $100 fine plus costs. An additional charge of simple assault was withdrawn.
Dornsife was charged by Shamokin Patrolman William Miner with assaulting her mother, Kim Dornsife, at their residence Sept. 29.
n Stanley Petrovich, 70, of 1000 Fountain St., Ashland, waived to court charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property relating to incidents that occurred March 27, 2010, April 2, 2010, April 15, 2010, and May 8, 2010, at Turkey Hill Minit Market on Lincoln Street.
Petrovich is charged by Shamokin Patrolman Jarrod Scandle with failing to pay for gas at the market.
n Ryan Moroz, 23, of 1227 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay a $300 fine plus costs and placed on supervised probation for one year. Additional charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance were withdrawn.
Moroz was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II in connection with a Sept. 22 incident on East Independence Street.
n Brandon M. Garancheski, 18, of 509 S. Seventh St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay a $300 fine plus costs. Additional charges of driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without proper inspection were withdrawn.
The charges filed by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko relate to a July 14 incident at Clay and Franklin streets.
n Nicole Frazier, 22, of 225 S. Franklin St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and was ordered to pay a $100 fine plus costs and make restitution totaling $609. She also was placed on supervised probation for six months.
Charges of criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property were withdrawn.
The charges were filed by Shamokin Patrolman William Miner in connection with a Sept. 27 theft at 1004 E. Sunbury St.
n Jason P. Carl Sr., 36, of 44 Adams St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay a $300 fine plus costs and placed on supervised probation for six months. Charges of retail theft and defiant trespass were withdrawn.
Carl was charged by Coal Township Patrolman Edward Purcell in connection with a May 23, 2011, incident at Wal-Mart Supercenter on Route 61.
