MOUNT CARMEL - The following hearings took place Wednesdsay before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones. Defendants ordered to appear for plea court on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in Northumberland County Court, Sunbury, can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n Mitchell G. Neidig, 31, of Mahanoy City, waived charges of recklessly endangering another person, fleeing or eluding police, reckless driving, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving at an unsafe speed and a learner's permit violation.

The charges, filed by Mount Carmel Borough Police Cpl. David Donkochik stem from an Oct. 3 motorcycle pursuit in the borough.

n Cody A. Long, 19, of 9 Gearheart St., Riverside, waived charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving under the influence, minor operating with alcohol in his system, reckless driving, underage drinking, driving with a suspended license in his hearing.

Patrolman Kerry Parkes, of the Riverside Borough Police, filed the charges following a vehicle pursuit, beginning on Sunbury Road, Riverside, at 3:08 a.m. Nov. 24.

n Charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a communication facility were waived to court by Christian L. Kehler, 36, of 1114 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin.

Mount Carmel Township Police Patrolman David Stamets Jr. filed the charges following an Oct. 17 traffic stop on Route 901, between the former Boylan's Service Station and Excelsior.

n Dessa M. Delancey, 27, of 718 Centre St., Apt. 2F, Ashland, waived charges of forgery, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property in her hearing.

She was charged by Ralpho Township Police after allegedly stealing a check from her father and forging his name to it.

n Charges of driving under the influence and careless driving were waived to court by Chelsea R. Lentini, 22, of 422 W. Second St., Mount Carmel.

Lentini was charged by Mount Carmel Borough Police Patrolman Justin Stelma following an Oct. 4 traffic accident in area of East Avenue.

n Kathleen R. Daniels, 49, of 534 W. Girard St., Mount Carmel, waived charges of driving under the influence, harassment, public drunkenness and two counts of disorderly conduct in her hearing.

She was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Patrolman Daniel Politza following an Aug. 20 incident at a home at 122 E. Columbia Ave., Atlas. A charge of simple assault was dismissed in the case.

n Three counts of driving under the influence, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages and a lighting violation, were waived to court by Michael F. Dombroski, 34. of 5065 Upper Road, Shamokin.

He was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Patrolman Keith Tamborelli following a July 5 traffic stop on Pennsylvania Avenue and Vine Street in Diamondtown.

n Andrew W. Pankotai, 28, of 25 Blue Springs Terrace, Danville, waived charges of burglary, criminal trespass, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at night in his hearing.

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Todd Leiby filed the charges following the investigation into the break-in of two Riverside residences on Nov. 22.

n Charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of automobiles and other vehicle against Robert Powers, 28, of 339 E. Seventh St., Mount Carmel were withdrawn when the victim refused to testify in the case.

He was charged by Mount Carmel Borough Police Officer Jason Drumheller following a Nov. 10 incident at Powers' residence.

n Rose M. McCallister, 32, of Route 4, Fayetteville, W. Va., pleaded guilty to charges of criminal mischief and public drunkenness and was sentenced to pay fines and court costs totaling $779.

She was charged by Mount Carmel Borough Police Patrolman Jason Drumheller following a Nov. 29 incident at 48-50 W. Avenue.

Charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct were withdrawn in the case.

n Melissa E. Wolfgang, 29, of 207 S. Market St., pleaded guilty to a summary citation of disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay fines and court costs of $455.50.

She was charged by Mount Carmel Borough Police Patrolman William Adamski following an Aug. 23, incident in the area of Fifth and Market streets.

Charges of driving under the influence and drivers required to be licensed were withdrawn in the case.

n Charges of driving under the combined influence of alcohol and a controlled substance and careless driving were waived to court by Kathleen E. Ruchko, 55, of 147 N. Chestnut St., Mount Carmel.

She was charged by Lt. Christopher Buhay of the Mount Carmel Borough Police following an Oct. 19 traffic accident in the 300 block of South Hickory Street.

n Brenda M. Long, 55, of 620 N. Cleaver St., Apt. 10, Shamokin, waived charges of criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Mount Carmel Borough Police Patrolman Kevin Katch filed the charges after Long was found sleeping inside a residence at 251 W. Third St., Mount Carmel, March 24, and had made herself a sandwich.
