MOUNT CARMEL - The following hearings took place Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones. Defendants ordered to appear for plea court April 28 in Northumberland County Court, Sunbury, can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n Cody James Linn, 20, of 184 Mount Zion Road, Catawissa, waived to court charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, driving under suspension, careless driving, reckless driving, following a vehicle too closely and a seat belt violation involving a Nov. 28 disturbance on Route 54 near Boyd Station Road in Rush Township.

Trooper Daniel Wilk of state police at Stonington filed the charges.

Linn is accused of pointing an unloaded shotgun at a family traveling along the highway en route to a relative's home for Thanksgiving.

n Patrick Tobin, 49, of 218 N. Third St., Minersville, was held for court on a charge of theft of lost or mislaid property filed by Mount Carmel Lt. Christopher Buhay.

Police said Tobin is accused of keeping a cell phone belonging to Robin Brown, of 46 N. Maple St., Mount Carmel, after Brown dropped the phone in Tobin's vehicle after being left off at her residence on Jan. 19. Brown told police she called Tobin numerous times in an attempt to regain her phone, but Tobin never returned her messages.

n Douglas J. Kraynak, 23, of 131 W. Clermont St., Marion Heights, waived to court charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving relating to a Dec. 20 incident in the first block of South Market Street.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Patrolman Justin Stelma.

n Shane Michael Wondoloski, 22, of 346 S. Poplar St., Mount Carmel, waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to use, disorderly conduct and harassment/stalking relating to a Jan. 11 incident at the corner on Sixth and Grape streets, Mount Carmel.

Wondoloski is accused of pushing Byanna Dusendschine on the ground after she allegedly bit him on the face and punched him in the back.

When he was taken into custody, he allegedly tried to discard two Oxycodone pills beneath the borough police cruiser, police said.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Patrolman William Adamski.

n Timothy L. Koch, 37, of 124 Vine St., Williamstown, waived to court charges of retail theft, operating a vehicle without required insurance, operating a vehicle without certificate of inspection and driving while under suspension relating to an Oct. 24 incident at Turkey Hill along Route 61 in Mount Carmel Township.

Koch is accused of leaving the gas pumps without paying for $55 worth of fuel he put in his car, police said.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Daniel Politza.

n Jennifer Lauren Miller, 29, of 413 Clermont St., P.O. Box 340, Marion Heights, waived to court two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and a lighting violation relating to a Jan. 26 incident on Route 61 in Atlas.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Kelly Campbell.
