n Ronell L. Leary, 27, of 323A E. 2nd St., Berwick, waived to court charges of tampering with public records, false swearing, false reports to law enforcement authorities, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, unsworn falsification to authorities and giving false identification to law enforcement during his preliminary hearing on March 24 before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel.

Leary was charged by Patrolman David J. Stamets of Mount Carmel Township Police following a traffic stop on Route 901 in Locust Gap on Feb. 7.

He was ordered to appear for court arraignment on Friday, April 30 at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n David Wengrenovich, 19, of 349 S. Chestnut St., Mount Carmel, pled guilty to charges of failure to stop at stop signs and meet lighting requirements during his preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A Jones on Feb. 24, and ordered to pay fines and cost totaling $226.50.

Wengrenovich was charged by Patrolman Kelly Campbell of the Mount Carmel Township Police following an incident in the township on Jan. 17.

Charges of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, recklessly endangering another person, and reckless driving were withdrawn in the case.

n Charges of driving under the influence, driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving were waived to court by Joseph A. Boyer, 48, of 1352 Poplar St., Kulpmont, during his preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel.

Boyer was charged following a traffic stop on Jan. 24 on Route 901 in Locust Gap. The charges were filed by Patrolman David J. Stamets Jr. of the Mount Carmel Township Police.

He was ordered to appear in Northumberland County Court in Sunbury for arraignment on Friday, April 30.

n Bad check charges against Paul B. Neitz, 40, of 24 E. Third St., Mount Carmel, were withdrawn when restitution was paid to the victim.

The charges were filed by Patrolman Kevin Katch of the Mount Carmel Borough Police following a Jan. 18 incident.

n Joshua A. Pursell, 23, of RR1 Box 250, Paxinos, pled guilty to a charge of selling or furnishing alcohol to minors during his preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel on Wednesday. Jones ordered Pursell to pay a fine of $1,000 and sentenced him to six months probation.

Pursell was charged by Sgt. Todd Owens of the Mount Carmel Borough Police following an incident on the 300 block of South Oak Street on Jan. 30.

A charge of corruption of minors was withdrawn in the case.

n Luis A. Guadalupe, 23, of 407 Schuylkill Ave., Reading, waived charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, one count of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and six counts of possession of crack cocaine and heroin during his preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel on Wednesday.

Guadalupe was charged by members of the Northumberland-Montour Drug Task Force following a March 27 drug raid in Mount Carmel. He was ordered to appear for court arraignment on Friday, April 30, at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n Nilsa I. Lopez, 19, of 325 Washington St., Reading, pled guilty to a charge of disorderly during her preliminary hearing on Wednesday. Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel sentenced her to six months probation and to pay a $300 fine.

She was charged by Patrolman Matthew Dillman following an incident at the Mount Carmel Borough Police Station May 22.

Charges of aggravated assault and simple assault were withdrawn in the case.

n Charges of criminal conspiracy to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of a counterfeit substance and possession of drug paraphernalia were waived to court by Marchelle N. Shurock, 20, of 1220 Hemlock St., Coal Township, during her preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel on Wednesday.

Shurock was charged following a traffic stop Feb. 20 in Mount Carmel Township. The charges were filed by members of the Northumberland-Montour Drug Task Force.

She was ordered to appear for court arraignment Friday, April 30, at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n Sarah M. Wehry, 27, of 102 Arch St., Locustdale, waived charges of two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two counts of criminal conspiracy and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility during her preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel on Wednesday.

Kehler was charged by Cpl. Christopher Buhay of the Mount Carmel Borough Police following an accident on North Oak Street on Feb. 20.

He was ordered to appear at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury for court arraignment Friday, April 30.

n Kimberly A. Thul, 23, of 721 Main St., Aristes, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, failure to stop at stop signs and careless driving during her preliminary hearing on Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones of Mount Carmel.
