n SHAMOKIN - Harry Wheary Jr., 42, of 223 Main St., Ranshaw, waived to court Tuesday two counts each of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of oxycodone, and one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and oxycodone, and a general lighting violation relating to a Jan. 1 incident at Shamokin and Independence streets.

The charges were filed by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II.

Wheary was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury, at which time he can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n SHAMOKIN - Matthew J. Duncheskie, 22, of 472 Old Reading Road, Sunbury, waived to court Tuesday charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia involving a Feb. 22 incident at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Route 125 in Coal Township.

The charges were filed by Coal Township Patrolman Matthew Henrich.

Duncheskie was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury, at which time he can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n SHAMOKIN - Randy Taby, 24, of 1328 W. Walnut St., Coal Township, pleaded guilty Tuesday to harassment and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay a $100 fine plus costs.

An additional charge of disorderly conduct was withdrawn.

Taby was charged by Coal Township Patrolman Edward Purcell Jr. in connection with a Feb. 16 disturbance in the 1300 block of West Walnut Street.

n SHAMOKIN - Geoffrey Koser, 25, of Beavertown, waived to court Tuesday a retail theft charge and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

Koser was charged by Shamokin Patrolman William Zalinski with damaging packaging of several items at Rite Aid Pharmacy on Jan. 13.

At his arraignment, Koser can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n SHAMOKIN - Christopher A. Bateman, 30, of 1219 W. Independence St., Coal Township, pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay a $300 fine plus costs and placed on supervised probation for six months.

An additional charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana was withdrawn.

Bateman was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Darwin Tobias III in connection with a Feb. 14 incident at 22 N. Market St., Apt. 1, Shamokin.

n SHAMOKIN - Douglas Ebright, 47, of 304 S. Pearl St., Shamokin, waived to court Tuesday two counts of indecent exposure and one count of open lewdness and harassment.

Ebright was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II with exposing himself to a woman in the 400 block of South Vine Street on Feb. 23.

Ebright was ordered to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury, at which time he can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n SHAMOKIN - Robert R. Fisher III, 23, of 1024 W. Lynn St., Coal Township, waived to court Tuesday three counts of terroristic threats and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

Fisher was charged by Coal Township Deputy Chief Chris Williams with threatening to kill his parents, Robert R. Fisher Jr. and Julia Fisher, and his brother, Tracy Lee Seidel Jr., at his residence on Feb. 11. Police said Fisher, who was in possession of knives, also smashed and destroyed items in the house and threatened to burn his father's vehicle.

At his arraignment, Fisher can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n MOUNT CARMEL - Brad E. Kashner, 20, of 1319 W. Pine St., Coal Township, pleaded guilty Wednesday to possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to pay a $500 fine plus costs and placed on probation for six months.

An additional charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana was withdrawn.

Kashner was charged by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Kelly Campbell in connection with a Jan. 30 incident in Locust Gap.

n MOUNT CARMEL - Dale J. Carls, 33, of Hazleton, waived to court Wednesday two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and operating a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker in connection with a Jan. 25 incident in Locust Gap.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Kelly Campbell.

Carls was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury, at which time he can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n MOUNT CARMEL - Roseann M. Kulick, 63, of 414 W. Saylor St., Atlas, waived to court Wednesday charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, hit and run and careless driving relating to a Dec. 29 accident at Fern and West Girard streets in Atlas.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Matthew Filarski.

Kulick was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury, at which time she can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

n MOUNT CARMEL - Jayde A. Deitrick, 20, of 26 Raspberry Hill, Shamokin, waived to court Wednesday charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an adulterated or misbranded controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing, selling or delivering a controlled substance, underage drinking and driving without a license.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Kelly Campbell in connection with a Jan. 30 incident in Locust Gap.

Deitrick was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to appear for arraignment April 25 at Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury, at which time she can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.
