DANVILLE - A Dalmatia woman, one of the three drivers involved in a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Route 147, remains in critical condition at Geisinger Medical Center.

A public relations officer at the Danville hospital reported that Ellen E. Clement, 44, of Dalmatia, was in critical condition Friday afternoon. She was one of the three drivers involved in Thursday's crash that injured eight people and closed Route 147 for several hours.

Another person, Ian Sheller, 16, of Sunbury, was listed in fair condition according to the Geisinger representative. Sheller is believed to be the driver of the 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier that entered the southbound lane of Route 147, striking Clement's 2005 GMC Canyon truck and a 2001 Chevrolet Venture, driven by Brian E. Dyer, 43, of Dalmatia.

Sheller's four passengers, two 16-year-old males from Sunbury, a 16-year-old female from Northumberland and a 15-year-old female from Sunbury, were all injured in the crash, as were Dyer's two passengers, Judy L. Dyer, 42, and a 17-year-old male, both of Dalmatia. Brian E. Dyer escaped injury.
