COAL TOWNSHIP - SUN Area Dairy Princess Ashley Wetzel visited Shamokin Area Elementary Annex School kindergarten and first grade students Jan. 22 and 23. Wetzel read a story called "Pobody's Nerfect," which is about a calf that is the color of the rainbow and doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the group.

Each student made a bookmark that included three beads to help remind them to have three servings of dairy products every day.

The students decorated the book markers with ice cream and cow stickers and drawings of their favorite dairy products.

Wetzel also taught the students where milk comes from before it goes to the store. Each student received a goody bag that contained a "What's Up With Milk?" coloring book, a "Got Milk?" pencil, a cow eraser and two "Got Milk?" stickers.
