NORTH MANHEIM TOWNSHIP - A Shamokin man was not injured following a two-vehicle crash at 8:50 p.m. Thursday on the Gordon Nagle Trail, at the intersection with an unnamed street in Schuylkill County.
State police at Schuylkill Haven report a 1999 Volkswagen Passat, driven by Allison M. Knopf, 23, of Auburn, was traveling east in the eastbound lane of the Gordon Nagle Trail while a 2008 Oldsmobile Sienna, driven by Brian Wagner, 40, of Shamokin, was stopped in the eastbound lane waiting for a car in front of him to turn left. Police said the Passat struck the Sienna from behind, moving both vehicles forward about five feet.
Neither driver was injured in the crash, and police cited Knopf for driving at an unsafe speed.
