Hearing aid found
COAL TOWNSHIP - Police here reported a hearing aid was found Friday near the Shamokin-Coal Township Joint Sewer Authority property at 1100 W. Arch St.
The owner of the hearing aid can claim it by contacting Coal Township police at 644-0333.
SUNBURY - State police at Stonington are investigating a burglary at the residence of Debbie Lynn Zweier, 58, of 1597 Route 61, Sunbury, that occurred between Saturday and Monday.
Police said someone stole a Dade College 1973 class ring with a gold band and Topaz stone, a Shikellamy High School 1971 class ring with a gold band and blue stone, a silver necklace with a purple pendant and miscellaneous gold rings and gold necklaces before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to call state police at 286-5601 and ask for Trooper Daniel Wilk.
SHAMOKIN - Sylvia Tinley, 21, of 224 E. Sunbury St., Apt. 2, Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. John Brown for harassment for subjecting family members to physical contact at her apartment building at 8:26 p.m. Oct. 2.
