Car parts stolen
COAL TOWNSHIP - Daniel Carl, 23, of 131 Iron St., is accused of stealing car parts from a neighbor's property and having them scrapped.
About $1,250 in parts were stolen between July 6 and July 14 from the rear of 130 Iron St., owned by 33-year-old David Lehman. They were recovered at SOS Metals, Mount Carmel.
Coal Township Patrolman Chris Lapotsky said Carl took the parts to SOS Metals and was paid $45.60.
Carl will be charged by Lapotsky with theft and receiving stolen property.
COAL TOWNSHIP - A lawn mower and other items were reported stolen from a West Arch Street home.
Michael Klembara, 70, of 1601 W. Arch St., told Coal Township Police someone entered his son's garage at 1609 W. Arch St. and stole a Sears battery charger, Craftsman air compressor tank, Black and Decker crosscut saw and a 20-foot yellow extension cord between 4:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday. A Craftsman lawn mower was reported stolen from the yard.
The items' value are estimated at $495.

SHAMOKIN - Andres Ashburn, 26, and his live-in girlfriend, Samantha Evans, 26, of 508 W. Pine St., Shamokin, were cited by Cpl. Jarrod Scandle for disorderly conduct involving a disturbance at their residence at 10:50 p.m. Thursday.
SHAMOKIN - Edward Hancock, 19, of 5 W. Commerce St., Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. Jarrod Scandle for underage drinking relating to an incident at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at Commerce and Market streets.
