COAL TOWNSHIP - Karen Everitt, 54, of Ringtown Road, Zion Grove, reported to Coal Township police at 9:30 a.m. Monday, while she was at the Coal Township Wal-mart SuperCenter, someone removed a Samsung ES80 camera from a shopping cart.

MOUNT CARMEL - Matthew Allen Rieder, 37, of 325 N. Shamokin St., Apt. 2A, Shamokin, has been charged by Patrolman Matt Dillman with violating a protection from abuse order filed against him by Christy Aikey.
Police said Rieder repeatedly texted Aikey on Nov. 3, which violated the order.
COAL TOWNSHIP - James Jones Sr., 56, of 205 Main St., Ranshaw, reported to police that sometime between Saturday and Sunday, someone scratched his 2004 Ford truck while it was parked on Second Street near his house.
SHAMOKIN - Michael McGuire Jr., of 8 N. Second St., Shamokin, has been charged in a private criminal complaint filed by Tom Gordon of Heller's Gas, Berwick.
McGuire is accused of failing to appear and make available levied-on items for sale at an execution sale April 6 at his residence.
SHAMOKIN - James Hartman Jr., 18, of 148-150 E. Cameron St., Shamokin, has been charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia relating to a March 30 incident at his residence.
Police reported Hartman possessed Clonazepam, marijuana, a marijuana smoking pipe, a marijuana water bong and a pack of Zig-Zag rolling papers.
