SHAMOKIN - Frank Chartier, 44, of 1046 W. Arch St., Coal Township, was cited by Cpl. Bryan Primerano for retail theft for allegedly stealing a pair of underwear and two orange drinks from the Dollar General store on East Independence Street around 5:30 p.m. March 14.
SHAMOKIN - Patrolman Scott Weaver has cited a 16-year-old city male for disorderly conduct for violating a city ordinance by allegedly instigating a fight with a 15-year-old Shamokin boy at 2:20 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Marshall Street.
SHAMOKIN - Megan Corbacio, 23, of 1520 W. Walnut St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Jarrod Scandle with theft, receiving stolen property and access device fraud relating to a Feb. 25 incident at 804 N. Washington St., Apt. 1.
Police said Corbacio is accused of stealing Jackie Rupert's child support card and using it to purchase $101.06 worth of merchandise at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Coal Township.
SHAMOKIN - Patrolman Jarrod Scandle charged Nathan P. Leonard, 40, of 219 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, with possession of drug paraphernalia involving a March 17 incident at his residence.
Police reported Leonard, who overdosed on heroin, was in possession of a syringe lid and a small piece of cotton. Leonard underwent treatment in the emergency room at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital.
COAL TOWNSHIP - David Erdman, 40, and Valarie Dressler, 35, both of 334 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, were charged by Patrolman Edward Purcell with theft and receiving stolen property.
Police said Erdman and Dressler removed heavy machinery parts owned by Ken Snyder from the Big Mountain area March 14 and sold them for scrap at Jeff's Recycling.
