Underage drinking

COAL TOWNSHIP - Edward W. Hancock, 18, of 5 W. Commerce St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman William Zalinski for underage drinking relating to an incident at 12:20 a.m. Sunday in the first block of East Sunbury Street.

Harassment

RIVERSIDE - Athena Marie Williams, 28, of Danville, was cited by Trooper Daniel J. Wilk for harassment for allegedly shoving a 9-year-old Danville female to the ground at 3:45 p.m. Saturday at 303 Avenue F. The victim escaped injury, police said.

Tools, wire stolen

COAL TOWNSHIP - Randy Dock of Middleburg reported someone entered a property at 912 W. Holly St. that he is renovating and stole several tools and copper wire.

Stolen were a Sears Shop-Vac, a Torro pushmower, hammer, pry bar, flat bar, staple gun, electrical breakers, plastic piping and approximately 200 feet of copper wire totaling $700.

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to call Coal Township police at 644-0333.

Route 11 crash

MONROE TOWNSHIP - Katheryn Lebarron, 76, of Troupsburg, N.Y., was involved in a one-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on Route 11 just north of Tedd's Landing.

State police at Selinsgrove reported Lebarron was driving south at 1:40 p.m. when her vehicle left the right side of the highway and struck a stone cliff/wall before re-entering the road and traveling across the southbound lane into the northbound lane. The vehicle then traveled back into the southbound lane and came to rest.

Police did not indicate on their press release if Lebarron was injured.

Drug charges

MONROE TOWNSHIP - Brian Betz, 24, of Shamokin Dam, was placed under arrest by state police at Selinsgrove for presumption of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct relating to an incident at 1:20 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot at Wal-Mart.

Betz, who was found passed out in the driver's seat of a running vehicle, was committed to Snyder County Prison on a parole violation.
