TREVORTON - Zerbe Township police reported a small electronic device was found and turned over to authorities. The owner can claim it by calling 570-797-4637.
SHAMOKIN - Deborah A. Sweeney, 25, of 221 N. Pearl St., Shamokin, and her sister, Danielle P. Sweeney, 23, of 1215 Pulaski Ave., Coal Township, were cited by Cpl. Jarrod Scandle for harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief involving a fight at 2:50 a.m. in the 200 block of West Willow Street.
Police reported the Sweeney sisters are accused of fighting with Zolange Otero and smashing two windows at the residence of Junior Fairweather.
COAL TOWNSHIP - Police here are investigating an arson involving a vehicle stolen from the Fifth Ward in Shamokin and discovered in the Big Mountain section of the township.
Police said the vehicle was intentionally burned late Sunday or early Monday morning.
Anyone with information about the arson is urged to call Coal Township police at 644-0333.
DANVILLE - State police at Milton reported Dorothy Blase, 52, of Mount Carmel, was assaulted by a patient at Danville State Hospital at 8 a.m. Sept. 24.
Police, who did not identify the suspect, said Blase suffered minor injuries.

WEST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - Damon Donald Francola, 50, of 5389 Lower Road, Shamokin, was charged by Trooper Thomas Leib of state police at Stonington with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, limitations on backing and careless driving involving a Sept. 21 traffic stop on Lower Road near the intersection with Church Lane.
Police reported Francola had a blood-alcohol content of .133 percent.
THARPTOWN - Khadijah Kadine Smith, 21, of Reading, was charged by Trooper Todd Leiby of state police at Stonington with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia relating to a Sept. 8 incident in the parking lot at SCI-Coal Township.
Police found 8.9 grams of marijuana and a digital scale in a backpack belonging to Smith.
COAL TOWNSHIP - Trooper Nicholas Berger of state police at Stonington has charged Shane Michael Ososkie, 25, of 324 E. Seventh St., Mount Carmel, with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in a single lane, careless driving and failure to wear a seat belt.
The charges were filed in connection with a Sept. 21 incident on Route 225 near the Dollar General.
Police said Ososkie had a blood-alcohol content of .174 percent.
ZERBE TOWNSHIP - Doc McDonnel Gaugler IV, 19, of 953 Schwaben Creek Road, Dornsife, was charged by Trooper Justin Rosboschil of state police at Stonington with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive in a single lane, following a vehicle too closely, careless driving and failing to wear a seat belt.
The charges relate to a Sept. 7 traffic stop at the intersection of Route 225 and Long Hollow Road.
Police reported Gaugler drove a vehicle while under the influence of marijuana.
ZERBE TOWNSHIP - Charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance or combination of drugs, failure to drive in a single lane and careless driving were filed by Trooper David Townsend of state police at Stonington against Lori Ann Dewald, 47, of 1331 W. Susquehanna St., Trevorton.
Police said Dewald had diazepam, nordiazepam, oxazepam, temazepam and lorazepam in his blood system.
The charges relate to a July 21 incident on Route 890 in Zerbe Township.
