Liquor law violations
MONTOURSVILLE - Liquor law violations were filed by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement against the Wilburton Hose Company, No. 1, 302 S. Main St., Conyngham Township, Columbia County.
The establishment was cited Thursday for possessing or operating gambling devices or paraphernalia or permitted gambling or lotteries, poolselling and/or bookmaking on the licensed premises, failing to operate small games of chance according to state code, failing to maintain complete and truthful records covering the licensed business for a period of two years before Feb. 6, 2014, in accordance with the state's Small Games of Chance Act, purchasing malt or brewed beverages on credit, and failing to keep records on the licensed premises.
State police said the offenses occurred between Nov. 1 and 3, 2013, Nov. 8 and 10, 2013 and on other occasions within the past year.
