Disorderly conduct

ASHLAND - An Ashland man was jailed Saturday for allegedly causing a disturbance on a borough street by smashing bottles and urinating on the sidewalk, according to borough police.

Raymond Hillisbush, 34, of 708 Centre St., Apt. 1, was taken into custody after 4:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Middle Street. Patrolmen Ted Buriak and Kyle Schauer said he was "acting out," screaming and visibly intoxicated.

He allegedly continued to act disorderly while in custody and kicked and damaged property inside the police station, police said.

Hillisbush is charged with persistent disorderly conduct, institutional vandalism and criminal mischief. He was arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
