SHAMOKIN DAM - Damean Rivera-Flores, 27, of Sunbury, will be charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing $299.95 in merchandise from Best Buy in Monroe Marketplace along Routes 11/15 about 11:20 a.m. Jan. 9, according to state police at Selinsgrove.
Crash near Vets Bridge
SHAMOKIN DAM - A 21-year-old Sunbury woman escaped injury after crashing into a concrete barrier along the on-ramp to the Veteran's Memorial Bridge.
Jordan M. Reinhardt was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry and was merging onto Route 61 south about 7:05 a.m. Saturday when her vehicle drove over a patch of ice, causing her to lose control, according to state police at Selinsgrove.
She will be charged with driving too fast for conditions, police said.
HUMMELS WHARF - A 16-year-old juvenile was cited by state police at Selinsgrove for retail theft for allegedly stealing two pairs of earrings about 8:10 p.m. Saturday from Claire's Boutique inside the Susquehanna Valley Mall, Routes 11/15.
