Harassment
TREVORTON - A 15-year-old Trevorton male was charged with harassment after an incident at the Foundry at approximately 7 p.m. Aug. 24.
Zerbe Township Patrolman Michael Pitcavage reported that the male punched Danielle Shaffer, 18, of 304 Railroad St., Trevorton, and also an 11-year-old from Paxinos, causing minor bruising to both victims.
Burgers on truck
MONROE TOWNSHIP - State police at Selinsgrove reported someone placed two cheeseburgers, ketchup and mustard on the front windshield of a yellow 2004 Ford truck owned by Pietro Vincenzo Picciurro, 20, of Middleburg, while the vehicle was parked in the lot at Wal-Mart along Routes 11-15 between 11:30 p.m. and midnight Tuesday.
Scattering rubbish
MOUNT CARMEL - Patrolman Anthony Galla has cited Catherine Maschal, 44, of 408 W. Second St., Mount Carmel, for scattering rubbish relating to an incident that occurred at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at B&B Service Center, 201 E. Fifth St.
Police reported Maschal dumped a garbage bag full of household items in front of a donation box at the business.
Police said Maschal's son, Michael Maschal, 28, of the same address, was previously cited for the same offense until police learned that he was misidentified as the wrong actor. The citation for scattering rubbish filed against Michael Maschal was withdrawn at the office of Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones after his mother was interviewed by police and admitted to dumping the garbage.
Domestic
MOUNT CARMEL - Raymond Brown, 44, of 38 N. Maple St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman Kevin Katch for harassment involving a domestic disturbance shortly before 7 p.m. Friday.
Police said Brown and BobbiJo Rogers, 32, also of 38 N. Maple St., Mount Carmel, were involved in a verbal argument inside an apartment when Brown allegedly grabbed Rogers and shoved her into a coffee table, causing her to suffer scratch marks on her chest.
Police said the coffee table was broken during the disturbance.
Harassment
MOUNT CARMEL - Gregory Kanowicz Sr., 50, and his son, Gregory Kanowicz Jr., 21, both of 230 S. Locust St., Mount Carmel, were cited by Mount Carmel Police Chief Brian Shurock and Patrolman Jason Drumheller for harassment after they allegedly assaulted each other at their residence at 7:34 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said both men suffered minor facial injuries.
Drug charges
SHAMOKIN - William J. Whispell, 22, of 156 E. Independence St., Apt. 1B, Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Jarrod Scandle with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of diazepam and possession with intent to deliver marijuana relating to a July 22 incident at his apartment.
Multiple charges
SHAMOKIN - Rogan Haines, 51, of 615 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with criminal mischief, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, harassment, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
According to a criminal complaint filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III, Haines stole $47.50 belonging to Elvera Snyder, grabbed Ralph Koch by the throat and threatened to hit him with a metal padlock, pushed a metal window screen assembly out a second-story window, yelled inside an apartment building and caused damage to property at 615 N. Shamokin St. on Aug. 14.
Theft by deception
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - Charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property were filed by Trooper Jason Caccia of state police at Milton against Jeremy M. Cleary, 33, of 1020 Ridge Road, Milton, in connection with a July 22 incident at Jeff's Recycling Center along Snydertown Road in Shamokin Township.
Police reported Cleary sold scrap metal and radiators to the recycling center for $298.40, while knowing the items had been stolen from Albert Hatzel.
DUI charges
COAL TOWNSHIP - Joseph Miscavage, 38, of 1223 W. Mulberry St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Chad Yoder with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of driving without a license relating to a May 14 incident on Big Mountain Road.
Police reported Miscavage had a blood-alcohol content of .122 percent.
Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN - A 12-year-old city boy was cited by Patrolman Darwin Tobias III for attempting to steal a bicycle from 44 S. Shamokin St. at 7:10 p.m. Monday.
Harassment
SHAMOKIN - A 13-year-old Shamokin girl was cited by Patrolman Darwin Tobias III for harassment for threatening another female juvenile while claiming she had a gun at Race and Pearl streets at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday.
