Simple assault
WAYNE TOWNSHIP - RoseMarie Hoffman, 66, of Halifax, has been charged by state police at Lykens with simple assault, endangering the welfare of children, disorderly conduct and harassment relating to a disturbance Tuesday night in a driveway at 886 Ridge Road in this Dauphin County township.
Police reported Hoffman is accused of spraying Raid wasp and hornet killer and pepper spray at a 52-year-old Halifax man who wasn't identified by police. As Hoffman was spraying the bee killer and pepper spray, a six-month-old girl from Elizabethville was left in a stroller in the middle of the road.
Police said the incident occurred between 8:10 and 8:30 p.m.
3-vehicle crash
TREVORTON - Andrea Zimmerman, 29, of 1021 W. Market St., Trevorton, and her two-year-old passenger escaped injury Thursday morning in a three-vehicle accident along Route 225.
State police at Stonington reported Zimmerman was driving a 1991 Ford Escort station wagon south at 5:30 a.m. when her car exited the right side of the road for an unknown reason and struck two legally parked trucks.
Zimmerman's car sustained moderate damage.
Barking dogs
COAL TOWNSHIP - James Gribbon, 29, of 1133 Webster St., Coal Township, was cited by Patrolman Christopher Lapotsky for violating a township barking dog ordinance.
Police said Gribbon's dogs were barking on his back porch Wednesday.
