ATV stolen

COAL TOWNSHIP - A 1999 Yamaha Blaster was reported stolen late Sunday from a home in the Springfield section of the township.

Cathy Seedor, 35, of 1508 Wabash St., reported the all-terrain vehicle was stolen between 9 and 11:30 p.m.

The blue ATV has a Fox sticker on its gas tank, black Nerf bars and a DG brand brush guard on its front.

Teen cited

SHAMOKIN - A Coal Township teen was cited by police after he was discovered to be drunk while lying on a sidewalk in the city's Fifth Ward, police said.

The 14-year-old boy was cited by Cpl. Darwin Tobias III for public drunkenness and underage drinking after he was found in the 200 block of South Franklin Street at 11:07 p.m. Friday.

Window damaged

COAL TOWNSHIP - A window on a home on the township's west end was damaged by a BB-type projectile.

George Gratti, of 227 N. Ash St., told police a window on the north side of his home was damaged. The incident occurred sometime Sunday.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - A 25-year-old city man was cited for creating a disturbance Saturday night at Market and Chestnut streets.

Cpl. Darwin Tobias III cited David Payne, 411 N. Shamokin St., Third Floor, with disorderly conduct for allegedly shouting and cursing toward a group of five people at 8:44 p.m.

Public drunkenness

SHAMOKIN - Walter Hyde, 70, of 514 Bear Valley Ave., Shamokin, was cited by city Patrolman Scott Weaver with public drunkenness for an incident at 3:05 a.m. Saturday at Market and Water streets.

Crash

SHAMOKIN DAM - A Herndon woman suffered a minor injury in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at an intersection on the Susquehanna Trail.

State police at Selinsgrove said Kevin C. Long, 23, of Winfield, was driving a 1999 Nissan Sentra south on Routes 11/15 at 1:35 p.m. when he failed to stop at a red traffic signal and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox that had entered the intersection from Baldwin Boulevard.

The Equinox's driver, Judy A. Leitzel, 67, suffered a minor injury and was transported by Americus Hose Co. Ambulance to Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

A passenger in her vehicle, Billy D. Leitzel, 76, of Herndon, was not injured, troopers said, and neither was Long.

All three were wearing seat belts.

Long was cited for disobeying a traffic signal.

Credit fraud

HUMMELS WHARF - Someone hacked into credit card data at Garfield's Restaurant at Susquehanna Valley Mall this month and obtained multiple credit card numbers.

State police at Selinsgrove said the hacker used the numbers to make purchases with a fraudulent credit card in several states including Mississippi and California.
