Harassment

RIVERSIDE - Robert Scott Schnars, 33, of Avenue A, Riverside, was cited by state police at Stonington for harassment relating to a physical confrontation he had with a 43-year-old female on Avenue A at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Police did not identify the victim.

Indecent assault

WILLIAMSTOWN - Robert Mucher III, 62, of 9419 Route 209, Williamstown, has been charged by state police at Lykens with unlawful contact, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors relating to incidents that occurred at his residence between 2005 and 2007.

Police reported Mucher had indecent contact with a girl for whom he was providing day care services, when she was between the ages of 4 and 6.

Mucher was arraigned on the charges and released on $25,000 unsecured bail with the condition that he avoid any contact with minors.

Urinates in public

COAL TOWNSHIP - Joshua Hartman, 23, of East Sunbury Street, Shamokin, was cited by Coal Township police for disorderly conduct after he allegedly urinated in the drive-thru area at McDonald's along Route 61 at 1:22 a.m. Saturday.

Underage drinking

SHAMOKIN - City police have cited two people for underage drinking relating to separate incidents over the weekend.

John Eric Reichner II, 20, of 114 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Bryan Primerano in connection with an incident that occurred at 9:50 p.m. Saturday at Market and Chestnut streets.

Sara L. Olszewskie, 20, of 1628 Mohawk St., Coal Township, was cited by Patrolman Raymond Siko II in connection with an incident that occurred at 1:55 a.m. Sunday on Shamokin Street near Shakespeare Street.

Trailer violation

SHAMOKIN - Patrolman Scott Weaver cited Donald E. Hill, 62, of 547 N. Sixth St., Shamokin, for having his trailer parked in front of 14 S. Rock St. at about 9 p.m. Thursday.

Police said trailers and other recreational vehicles are prohibited from being parked on city streets between Nov. 1 and April 15.

PFA violations

MOUNT CARMEL - Mark A. Trombley, 54, of Levittown, has been charged with violating a protection from abuse order twice that was filed against him by his former wife, Carol Trombley.

Police said Trombley violated the order signed by Northumberland County President Judge Robert B. Sacavage on April 23, 2009, by leaving a telephone message containing obscenities at his ex-wife's home at 24 S. Vine St. on April 29, 2009, and calling her 14 times on June 4, 2009.

Police said the protection from abuse order expires April 23, 2012.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Patrolmen David Donkichik and Matthew Dillman.

Multiple charges

KULPMONT - Jeffrey M. Boscolovich, 32, of 712 N. Sixth St., Shamokin, has been charged by Police Chief Richard L. Wilson III with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, operating an unregistered vehicle, unauthorized transfer or use of registration, driving without a license, driving without a valid certificate of inspection, displaying an illegal inspection certificate and driving without insurance relating to a Feb. 17 incident in the 800 block of Maple Street.

Steals money

MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - Courtney N. Lynn, 19, of 494 W. Saylor St., Atlas, was charged by Patrolman Brian Carnuccio with theft and receiving stolen property.

According to a criminal complaint filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, Lynn is accused of stealing $112 from a purse owned by Lindsey Smerlick during a lunch period at Mount Carmel Area Junior-Senior High School on Feb. 16.

Bad check

RALPHO TOWNSHIP - Gary A. Coleman, 40, of 246 East Ave., P.O. Box 44, Mount Carmel, was charged by Sgt. Chris Kreisher with issuing a bad check and theft by deception relating to an Oct. 23 incident.

Police reported Coleman issued a bad check in the amount of $166.70 to Elysburg Animal Hospital.

DUI

RALPHO TOWNSHIP - Frank Hogarty, 45, of 176 Knoebels Blvd., Elysburg, has been charged by Patrolman Stephen Spade with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of careless driving relating to a Sept. 28 incident along Route 487 and Kase Street.

Police said Hogarty had a blood-alcohol content of .203 percent.

Bad check

MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - Dorsey M. Hauck, 43, of 7 Mainzer Hill Road, Danville, has been charged by Police Chief Brian Hollenbush with issuing a bad check in the amount of $304 to UAE Coal Corp. Associates on Feb. 2.

No license

MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - William C. Bracey, 50, of 419 Broad St., Ashland, was charged by Patrolman David Stamets Jr. with being a habitual offender for driving under suspension, driving under suspension and driving without a license relating to a Jan. 1 vehicle stop along Route 901 at Locust Gap.

Bad checks

RALPHO TOWNSHIP - Michael R. Harwick Sr. 38, of Minersville, was charged by Sgt. Chris Kreisher with two counts of issuing bad checks and one count of theft by deception.

Police reported Harwick issued six bad checks totaling $3,217.90 to the office at Knoebels Amusement Resort between May 21 and May 24, 2009.

Theft of services

MOUNT CARMEL - Jason D. Hunsinger, 30, of Bloomsburg, was charged by Patrolman William Adamski with theft of services.

Police reported Hunsinger is accused of depositing numerous bags of garbage in a Dumpster owned by L&J Auto at 325 N. Market St. on Oct. 18.
