Drug paraphernalia

RANSHAW - Two Ranshaw residents were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at a residence on Third Street in Ranshaw at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday.

State police at Stonington reported officers were there to serve a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation form to Cynthia Ann Albertson, 19, of 211 Third Street. At the time police were serving the form, both Albertson and another occupant of the home, Eric A. Watkins, 20, of the same address, were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III of Shamokin.

Seasonal break-in

VALLEY TOWNSHIP - State police at Milton continue to investigate a break-in of a seasonal residence on Sugar Camp Road in Valley Township.

Police say sometime between 11 a.m. Feb. 1 and 9 a.m. Saturday, someone forcefully entered the Sugar Camp Road residence of Thomas J. Silk, 70, of 120 Eyer Road, Danville. Nothing was reported stolen.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Trooper J.J. Kowalski of the state police barracks in Milton at 524-2662.
