Fraud

JORDAN TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington are investigating an incident involving access device fraud.

Shane Shutt, of Green Acres Road, Herndon, told police someone gained unauthorized access to his bank account and charged various items of merchandise to the account.

Police said the incident was reported Friday.

Multiple charges

MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - Joanne M. Rodgers, 39, of Gilberton, has been charged by Patrolman Brian Carnuccio with forgery, false reports to law enforcement authorities, false identification to law enforcement authorities, driving without a license and driving without an official registration certificate relating to an Aug. 8 DUI checkpoint along Route 901 near Locust Gap.

Bad check

MOUNT CARMEL - Paul B. Neitz, 40, of 24 E. Third St., Apt. 210, Mount Carmel, has been charged by Patrolman Kevin Katch with issuing a bad check in the amount of $450 to Guarantee Trust LLC Building on Jan. 18.
