ELIZABETHVILLE - Two people suffered minor injuries when the vehicle they were riding in slid off an icy Route 225 Sunday morning and struck an embankment near Callio Hill Street.

Tammy L. Wolf, 39, of Herndon, was driving a 2004 Ford F-250 south at 8:55 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle, state police at Lykens reported.

Wolf and one of her passengers, Glen E. Trayer, 29, also of Herndon, complained of pain after the accident but did not want EMS assistance, police reported. A 13-year-old Herndon male was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Police reported all occupants were wearing seatbelts and no air bags deployed.
