Missing teen
ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington reported Wynter Marie Snyder, 16, of 121 Pine Hill Road, Sunbury, left her residence at 7 a.m. Friday to attend school, but never returned home.
The teen, who was wearing light blue jeans, a brown coat with a fur collar and brown boots, was reported missing at 10:11 p.m. Friday. She has a fair complexion, thin build and blond hair.
Police said Snyder may be staying with friends in the Sunbury-Northumberland area.
Anyone with information about the missing teen is urged to call state police at 286-5601.
Child pornography
MILLERSBURG - Arthur Zellner, 56, of Millersburg, has been charged by state police at Lykens with possessing child pornography in a photo album and his home computer that was reportedly seen by a 16-year-old female between 2004 and 2009.
Zellner was arraigned Friday by Dauphin County Magisterial District Judge Rebecca Margerum and committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Dauphin County Children and Youth Services assisted state police with the investigation.
Citations
Robert C. Woolsey Jr., 48, of 1490 Brush Valley Road, Sunbury, was cited for public drunkeness after he was seen urinating on a sidewalk near a DUI checkpoint operated by troopers from the Milton, Selinsgrove and Stonington stations on Route 61 near Zimmerman Motors Friday. Woolsey was found to be highly intoxicated.
A 23-year-old female from Lewisburg and a 41-year-old female from Sunbury were arrested for driving under the influence, six drivers received citations and a school bus owned by Tour World of Danville was placed out of service for various code violations during the checkpoint. Another bus picked up the students, who were from a local college.
