Police said the car is owned by Ann Rachau, 46, of 2039 George St., Dalmatia. The vandalism occurred between 5 and 6 a.m. Thursday at the rear of Rachau's residence.
Driver to be cited
COAL TOWNSHIP - Charges of operating a vehicle with a faulty brake system, bad tires and an expired inspection will be filed by Coal Township police against Joshua Martello, 17, of 1102 Scott St., Kulpmont, in connection with a one-vehicle accident at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday on Route 61 near McDonald's.
Police reported Martello was operating a 1997 Mercury Villager owned by Janet Martello, of the same address, when he applied his brakes to avoid striking another vehicle that cut in front of him.
