Underage drinking

MOUNT CARMEL - Jonathan Nissley, 20, and Kathleen Leach, 21, both of 3580 North Old Trail, Shamokin Dam, were cited by Cpl. Chris Buhay in connection with a disturbance that occurred at 9:41 p.m. Nov. 3 at 231 S. Poplar St.

Nissley was cited for underage drinking, while Leach was cited for disorderly conduct.

Leach was committed to Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury after police learned she was wanted on other charges by the Northumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Police said charges are pending against another male in the investigation.

Harassment

MOUNT CARMEL - Officer Justin Stelma has cited Ronald Stablewski, 43, of 504 E. Fifth St., Mount Carmel, and David Reese, 53, of 506 E. Fifth St., Mount Carmel, for harassment relating to a disturbance at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 30 in the 400 block of East Fifth Street.

Police said both men are accused of yelling obscenities at each other.

Disorderly conduct

MOUNT CARMEL - Bobbi Jo Rogers, 31, of South Pear Street, Mount Carmel, and a 14-year-old juvenile were cited by Patrolman Jason Drumheller for disorderly conduct in connection with a fight at 1:10 p.m. Oct. 30 in the 400 block of West Sixth Street.

Witnesses told police the juvenile began fighting with another juvenile and refused to stop despite numerous warnings to stop by bystanders in the area.

After the fight, Rogers arrived at the scene and caused a disturbance by threatening and slapping at another juvenile.
