Underage drinking

SHAMOKIN - Eight juveniles were cited by Patrolman Scott Weaver for underage drinking involving a drinking party at 221 S. Diamond St. at 6 p.m. Oct. 24.

Cited were a 14-year-old Shamokin girl, a 17-year-old Shamokin male, a 14-year-old Shamokin boy, a 17-year-old Overlook male, a 13-year-old Shamokin girl, a 15-year-old Sunbury boy, a 14-year-old Coal Township boy and a 15-year-old Shamokin girl.

False alarm

COAL TOWNSHIP - A 16-year-old male from Paxinos has been charged by Patrolman Chris Lapotsky with setting off a false alarm and disorderly conduct for allegedly pulling a fire alarm inside the gym at Shamokin Area Middle/High School at 11:20 a.m. Oct. 23, forcing the evacuation of the school building.

Criminal mischief

CATAWISSA - State police at Stonington reported someone damaged mailboxes at the residences of Richard Robinson, 50, of 13 Sharp Ridge Road, Catawissa, and Helen Jean Wesner, 43, of 122 Wonderview Road, Catawissa, between 1 and 4 a.m. Friday.

1-vehicle crash SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - A Winfield woman escaped injury after losing control of her car on Route 61 just south of Holly Road Saturday, according to state police at Stonington. Dahnya N. Heim, 32, was heading north on Route 61 around 4:44 p.m.
