MONROE TOWNSHIP - Cameron Yount, 18, of California, has been charged by state police at Selinsgrove with theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle for allegedly stealing a car from the Susquehanna Valley Mall parking lot between 11 and 11:20 p.m. June 30.
The car is owned by Alecia Roberts of Sunbury.
MONROE TOWNSHIP - Carol Klock, 66, of Herndon, reported to state police at Selinsgrove that someone stole her purse from a bathroom at Target at the Monroe Marketplace at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
MONROE TOWNSHIP - Eddie William Fernandez-Cepeda, of Sunbury, has been charged by state police at Selinsgrove with retail theft for allegedly stealing $31.87 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart, 980 Susquehanna Trail, at 3:10 p.m. Friday.
ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - Rosemary Ebersole, 55, of Trevorton, suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident Sunday along Route 890 near Fegley Road.
State police at Stonington reported Ebersole, who was a passenger on a 2006 Yamaha Roadstar driven by her husband, Daniel Ebersole, 57, was transported by Americus Ambulance to Sunbury Community Hospital.
State police at Stonington reported Daniel Ebersole was driving the motorcycle south on Route 890 at 5:40 p.m. when a tree fell onto the highway, causing the motorcycle to strike the tree, launch over it and land on its wheels. Ebersole's wife, who was wearing a helmet, fell off the motorcycle after it cleared the tree.
Police said Ebersole, who escaped injury, never lost control of his motorcycle and did not commit any violations. Police said the accident occurred at the start of a severe thunderstorm that caused windy conditions.
