Fight charges
SHAMOKIN - Carlos Morales, 34, of 234 S. Franklin St., Shamokin, and Orlando Villanueva, 35, of Allentown, were cited by Patrolman Mark Costa for disorderly conduct and harassment relating to a fight at the G-Lounge, 301 S. Vine St., at 1:10 a.m. March 5.
Police reported Morales and Villanueva are accused of attacking and punching Joseph Dudeck, 34, of 435 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, causing his nose to bleed.
Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN - Allen Lee Steinruck, 36, of 507 S. Market St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Bryan Primerano with two counts of disorderly conduct involving a fight with Jeffrey Houseweart, 36, of the same address, in the 500 block of South Market Street at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday.
Police reported Houseweart will be charged with the same offenses.
Harassment
SHAMOKIN - Charles Neidig, 67, of 1207 W. Mulberry St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Jarrod Scandle with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness relating to a disturbance at Coal and Arch streets at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said Neidig allegedly shoved his daughter, Shana Neidig, and swung at her several times with his fists.
Simple assault
NORTHUMBERLAND - Daniel J. Mordan, 47, of 10 King St., Apt. 3, Northumberland, was arraigned Saturday by on-call Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel on charges of simple assault, harassment and two counts of disorderly conduct involving a disturbance at his apartment early Saturday morning.
Mordan is charged by Officer Matthew Lauver with punching his mother, Jodi Shambach, in the nose, causing injury. Police said the assault occurred at 3:40 a.m.
Mordan was committed to Northumberland County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
PFA violation
RIVERSIDE - Robert S. Schnars, 33, of Riverside, has been charged by Trooper Todd Leiby with violating a protection from abuse order.
Police reported Schnars entered the property of Melissa Schnars, of 322 Avenue A, Riverside, at 4 p.m. Saturday, which violated a protection from abuse order filed by Melissa Schnars, ordering the defendant to avoid contact with the victim.
Robert Schnars was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel and committed to Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury in lieu of $50,000 bail.
PFA violation
MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - Michael F. Dombroski, 30, of Atlas, has been charged by Patrolman David Stamets Jr. with violating a protection from abuse order filed against him by his former girlfriend, Jamie Jurevicz.
Police said Dombroski broke into Jurevicz's home shortly before 11 p.m. March 5 and went to her bedroom, where she and her two children were sleeping.
Dombroski was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones and committed to Northumberland County Prison, Sunbury, in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Sent to court
MOUNT CARMEL - Darrel L. Fite, 23, of 300 W. Third St., Apt., 9, Mount Carmel, waived to court Wednesday multiple drug charges and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to appear for arraignment April 9 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury, at which time he can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.
Fite waived to court charges of criminal use of a communication facility, delivery of heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia involving a May 11, 2009, incident at Fourth and Poplar streets.
The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Patrolman Matthew Dillman and Sgt. Todd Owens.
The defendant also waived to court charges of theft, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia relating to incidents on March 4 and March 5, 2009, in the borough.
Owens filed the charges.
Waives charges
MOUNT CARMEL - Larissa J. Stanczyk, 23, of 230 E. Sixth St., Mount Carmel, waived to court Wednesday two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on the wrong side of the road and careless driving relating to a Nov. 23 incident at Fifth and Willow streets.
The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Patrolman David Donkochik.
Stanczyk was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to appear for arraignment April 9 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury, at which time she can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.
Guilty plea
MOUNT CARMEL - Marilyn J. Yeagley, 32, of Tower City, pleaded guilty recently to criminal mischief and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to pay a fine and costs totaling $440.50.
Additional charges of criminal trespass and aggravated assault were withdrawn.
Yeagley was charged by Mount Carmel Patrolman Matthew Dillman in connection with a Feb. 7 disturbance in the 300 block of North Market Street.
