n Charges of driving under the influence, careless driving, driving without headlights and driving without a license were waived to court Tuesday by Katie M. Snyder, 22, of 1632 W. State St., Coal Township, during a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III of Shamokin.

Snyder was charged following a traffic stop by Shamokin City Police Patrolman Jarrod Scandle on Sept. 19.

She was ordered by Gembic to appear for arraignment Dec. 14 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

n Faith Gearhart, 26, of 225 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, waived charges of driving under the influence and careless driving in her preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III of Shamokin on Tuesday.

Gearhart was charged by Shamokin City Police Patrolman Jarrod Scandle following an accident involving a parked car on Sixth Street.

She was ordered by Gembic to appear for arraignment Dec. 14 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

n SHAMOKIN - Susan L. Kratzer, 41, of 211 E. Water St., Mount Carmel, waived to court Tuesday two counts each of possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility relating to incidents that occurred July 9 and July 13 in the east end of Coal Township.

The charges were filed by Coal Township Detective Jeff Brennan.

Kratzer is accused of delivering three Contin pills, a Fentanyl patch and a Percocet pill.

The defendant was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment Dec. 14 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
