n Damien M. Slovick, 22, of 149 E. Saylor St., Atlas, waived charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license and operating an ATV on city streets during his preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel.

He was charged by Chief Richard L. Wilson III of the Kulpmont Police following a traffic stop on 12th Street in Kulpmont on July 2.

Slovick was ordered to appear on Dec. 14 for court arraignment at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n A bad check charge was withdrawn against Michael F. Neidlinger, 32, of Branchdale, after he made restitution to the victim and paid court costs.

Neidlinger was charged by Chief Brian J. Hollenbush of the Mount Carmel Township Police, following a Sept. 18 incident.

n Melinda K. Pawelczyk, 42, of 329 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, waived charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct during her preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel.

Pawelczyk was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Patrolman Matthew R. Filarski following an incident at a West Saylor Street residence in Atlas at 4:37 p.m. Sunday. She was accused of assaulting Daniel Pawelczyk Jr. and trying to run over another person with her car.

She was ordered to appear for court arraignment on Monday, Dec. 14 at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n Erick M. Rossman, 20, of 229 S. Locust St., Mount Carmel, pled guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel to pay fines and costs totalling $761.25.

Rossman was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Patrolman Daniel J. Politza following an incident on Oct. 24 in Den-Mar Gardens.

He was ordered to appear for court arraignment on Dec. 14 at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n Two counts of harassment were waived to court by Peter J. Rickert, 35, of 716 E. Front St., Danville, during a preliminary hearing on Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel.

Mount Carmel Borough Police Patrolman William Adamski filed the charges following a July 11 to 13 incident when Rickert tampered with the answering machine of the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home in Mount Carmel.

He was ordered to appear in Northumberland County Court in Sunbury for arraignment on Dec. 14.

n Richard A. Chapel, 39, of 47 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, waived charges of driving under the infulence, careless driving, driving with a suspended license and accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property, during his preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel.

The charges were filed by Patrolman William Adamski of the Mount Carmel Borough Police following an hit-and-run incident on the 100 block of West Third Street on Aug. 18.

Jones ordered Chapel to appear for court arrangement on Monday, Dec. 14 at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n Charges of driving under the influence and driving without headlights were waived to court by Jennifer M. Honicker, 22, of 652 Spruce St., Kulpmont, during a preliminary hearing on Nov. 4 before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel.

Honicker was charged by Patrolman Kelly Campbell of the Mount Carmel Township Police following a traffic stop in Atlas on Sept. 13.

She was ordered to appear for court arraignment on Monday, Dec. 14 at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.

n Charges of criminal mischief, loitering and prowling at night time, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness were ordered bound to court by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones of Mount Carmel against Ronald A. Wills, 21 of 87 Springside St., Locust Gap.

Wills was charged by Patrolman Kelly M. Campbell of the Mount Carmel Township Police following a Nov. 9 incident near the Locust Gap playground.

He was ordered to appear for court arraignment on Monday, Dec. 14 at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury.
