MOUNT CARMEL - The following hearings took place Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh A. Jones. Defendants ordered to appear for plea court on Monday, March 5 in Northumberland County Court, Sunbury, can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.

- Tabatha T. Eltringham, 27, of 519 N. Coal St., Shamokin, waived two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and charges of criminal conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance.

Eltringham was charged by Sgt. Todd Owens and Patrolman Matthew Dillman of the Northumberland-Montour Drug Task Force and Mount Carmel Borough Police. She was one of the 100 individuals arrested during a Nov. 15 drug roundup.

- Dylan J. Scarlett, 20, of 1104 W. Pine Street, Coal Township, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to six months probation and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs by Jones.

Scarlett was charged by Patrolman Cade Holden of the Kulpmont Borough Police following an Aug. 12 incident at Powerking Motorsports in Kulpmont,

Charges of possession of a controlled substance, underage drinking and disorderly conduct were withdrawn in the case.

- Dustin C. Congello, 26, of 344 E. Columbia Ave., Atlas, waived charges of possession of an offensive weapon and disorderly conduct during his hearing.

Mount Carmel Township Police Chief Brian Hollenbush filed the charges following an Oct. 11 incident in the 300 block of East Columbia Avenue, Atlas.

- A charge of selling or furnishing alcohol to a minor was waived to court by Lynn M. Sessions, 50, of 332 S. Seventh St., Shamokin.

Sessions was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Patrolman Kelly Campbell following an incident at the Atlas Fire Company on Nov. 18.

- Two counts of driving under the influence, and a charge of selling or furnishing liquor to a minor were waived to court by Allen M. Cole, 22, of 302 W. Mulberry St., Shamokin.

Cole was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Patrolman Kelly Campbell following an incident at the Marion Heights Cemetery on Nov. 19.
