Driver uninjured

ZERBE TOWNSHIP - Carter D. Knouse, 48, of Pine Grove, escaped injury Wednesday evening in a one-car accident along Upper Road in this Northumberland County township.

State police at Stonington reported Knouse was driving a 2002 Buick Regalis west at 6:46 p.m. when his car hit an unknown object, causing one of the wheels to fall off. As Knouse turned around to look for the missing wheel, his auto slid off the road and went into a deep ditch.

Police said Knouse will be cited for careless driving and driving with a suspended license.

Simple assault

ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - Susan R. Buch, 55, of 404 Comfort Road, Sunbury, will be cited by state police at Stonington for simple assault, while Angela L. Buch, 33, of the same address, will be cited for harassment in connection with a disturbance at 11:30 p.m. Friday at their residence.

Police said the Buchs are accused of assaulting a 31-year-old Sunbury man who was not identified by police. The victim suffered injuries that required treatement at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Burglary

UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington are investigating the theft of various items from 20 to 25 storage rental units at KAMPCO Self Storage between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning in this Northumberland County township.

Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to call state police at 286-5601.

Boat stolen

ADAMS TOWNSHIP - State police at Selinsgrove reported someone stole a silver 1962 Sea King row from Walker Lane in this Snyder County township between Oct. 1 and Nov. 6.

Police said the boat is owned by William Wert, 65, of Sunbury.

Terroristic threats

SPRING TOWNSHIP - State police at Selinsgrove reported Michael Sanders, 48, of Mifflinburg, has been charged with terroristic threats for allegedly threatening to shoot a 14-year-old Beavertown male with a shotgun at Midd West Middle School at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
