COAL TOWNSHIP - Kasi Ristine, a daughter of Scott and Rhonda Tomcavage and Joseph and Jenifer Ristine, was named to the West Chester University's spring semester dean's list after earning a 3.7 grade-point average.

A music education major, she will be a senior in the fall and will perform for the fourth season in the West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, where she served as section leader to an ensemble of 24 tubas this past season.

While at West Chester University, Ristine has been a member of the concert band, symphonic band, wind symphony, tuba/euphonium ensemble and currently serves as treasurer of the Eta Rho Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi where she will serve a pivotal role in hosting the 2015 Kappa Kappa Psi-Tau Beta Sigma district convention.

Ristine has been employed at Knoebels Amusement Resort since 2006. She is a 2011 honors graduate of Shamokin Area Middle-High School, where she was a PMEA All-State musician on the euphonium under the guidance and mentoring of Kevin Styer.
