University of Scranton

SCRANTON - Ashley Pachutski, a junior at the University of Scranton where she is majoring in biology/pre-med, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall semester with an overall GPA of 3.61.

As a freshman, she was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. This society represents excellent academic achievement in a student's fist year of study in higher education and requires the student to be in the upper 20 percent of their class.

As a sophomore, she was inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta, a distinguished group of preprofessional health students that are recognized worldwide.

She is the daughter of Dave and Carol Pachutski and resides at 137 Greco Lane, Mount Carmel, with her parents and brother, Jason. Her grandparents are Francis Daya Sr. and the late Catherine Daya, of Mount Carmel, and the late Frank and Marcella Pachutski, of Atlas.

King's College

WILKES-BARRE - Dr. Nicholas A. Holodick, vice president for academic affairs at King's College, recently announced the students who have qualified for the fall dean's list:

Bloomsburg University

BLOOMSBURG - Adam M. Cook, a graduate of Danville High School, graduated from Bloomsburg University on Saturday, Dec. 18 with a major degree in Math Statistics and a minor in Economics.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Cook, of Danville, the grandson of Betty and Frank Kriski, of Marion Heights, and a great-grandson of Mary Krajewski, of Shamokin.
