Clarification: Landlords Rosini, Kallman, Daycock did pay license fee
SHAMOKIN - Landlords Anthony Rosini, of Danville, Shawn Kallman, of Coal Township, and Cheryl Daycock, of Leck Kill, have in fact paid the city's annual $25 license fee for rental properties.
The three were among a list of 11 landlords in Friday's edition who the city reported as being cited for not paying the fee.
Code officer Rick Bozza said Rosini paid his fee Jan. 7, long before the Feb. 15 deadline. A filing error at City Hall posted it for 2012, but it was for 2013, Bozza said.
Daycock paid her fee on time as well, the code office reported, but it wasn't recorded because of a name change made during the year on that property.
Bozza said Kallman told city officials he did not receive a letter about the fee, and he recently paid it, but not before a list of citations was sent to the magistrate. He is no longer on that list.
