Announcements welcome

Those running for local office in the May 21 primary are welcome to submit announcements about their candidacies for publication in The News-Item. The deadline is April 19.

Announcements should be a maximum of 500 words, but are subject to editing. Submissions can include a photo, submitted electronically or dropped off or mailed to 707 N. Rock St., Shamokin 17872.
