SHAMOKIN - Tom Olcese Pharmacy, 400 W. Spruce St., has been serving the needs of area residents for more than 50 years.
The family-owned business opened in 1958. Tom Olcese owned and operated the pharmacy before passing on the business to his daughter, Janice E. Miner, in 1995. Prescription services at Tom Olcese Pharmacy include consultation on medications and free delivery.
The staff at Tom Olcese Pharmacy is ready and willing to explain new Medicare D plans to its customers, as well as to make sure its patients receive the medications they need through their Medicare D plans. The pharmacy currently accepts black lung insurance plans and all Medicare D plans.
Tom Olcese Pharmacy also sells or will order a variety of durable medical equipment, such as walking and bath aids. Miner is certified in respiratory care, pharmacist care skills and osteoporosis care.
