Ex-Mount Carmel man named senior vp of cancer society

Former Mount Carmel resident Philip Kozlowski has accepted the position of senior vice president of human resources at The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Kozlowski had a long career with Hitachi America Ltd. as senior director of human resources, with experience in corporate organizational effectiveness, strategic planning, leadership development, change and talent management, as well as compensation, employee relations and benefits.
He built and led effective teams and provided innovative solutions to talent management challenges in domestic and international environments to improve employee engagement, productivity and retention.
Kozlowski lives in Yorktown Heights. He received his M.B.A. in marketing from Fordham University and a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
He is a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School, class of 1974.
