Artists invited to participate in Coal Region Heritage Art Exhibit
SHAMOKIN - The Northumberland County Council for the Arts and Humanities invites all regional artists and photographers to submit works for the annual Coal Region Heritage Art Exhibit in April at the NCCAH Gallery.
The show is geared toward artist and photographers who have a passion for capturing the spirit of the Coal Region - the places, people, sights and flavors, whether from now or from the past. The committee invites artists to submit up to three pieces for inclusion in this year's show.
The show begins with an opening reception at 6:30 p.m. April 4; it runs through May 9.
For more information, contact Gallery director Claude Harrington at Claudeharrington977@gmail.com or 973-632-2513 by March 20.
The gallery is located inside the Northumberland County Arts Center (former Shamokin High School) at 2 E. Arch St. on the ground floor. Use the rear handicapped entrance and follow the signs.
