Area hunters were recently invited to the Shamokin Area Community Hospital’s
hunters’ health screening sponsored by the hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation
Center. The VNA Health System, Luzerne County Community College nursing students
and the Pennsylvania Game Commission were all present providing hunters’
health and safety information. Avid hunter Rob Foulds receives a blood glucose
check from Tara Venna, clinical liaison for the VNA.
