FINLEYVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Police are searching for a gunman who chased three Dairy Queen employees from a Pittsburgh-area store, but wound up taking no money in the attempted heist.

Southwest Regional Police are also comparing notes with police in Bethel Park, to see if the same man might be responsible for a robbery at another nearby Dairy Queen a day earlier.

The latest robbery happened about 8:30 p.m. Saturday night in Union Township, Washington County, on Route 88. About 24 hours earlier, a man robbed the DQ in Bethel Park — about seven miles away but also on Route 88.

Police have released surveillance video of Saturday night's robbery attempt in hopes of catching the bandit.

Nobody was hurt in either robbery.
