SHAMOKIN — Nine Cub Scouts from Mount Carmel Pack 3178 visited The News-Item on Wednesday evening. Nine parents were also part of the group.
The Cub Scouts will get a “Go See It” bead for having made the visit.
News-Item advertising manager Mark Porter told the Cub Scouts about how his department generates revenue through the sale of advertisements. Editor Andy Heintzelman showed the Cub Scouts how the paper is produced each day.
