The Coal Township Commissioners donated $1,598.14 to the Brady Fire
Company to be used for windows on its new engine house. In the past, the
company was given $10,000 from the 2007 Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) funds for bay doors and $10,000 from the 2008 CDBG fund for
roof trusses. This lastest grant will help the company put the finishing touches
on the engine house. From left are Albert Santor, president of the board of
commissioners; Tom Sayles, Brady Fire Company president, and Gene Welsh,
Coal Township commissioner.
