ARISTES - Jill Marie Povish and Matthew Ryan Henrich, both of 816 W. State St., Coal Township, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 10, 2009, in Zion United Methodist Church. The Rev. Rose M. Marquardt officiated at the ceremony.

Jim and Janet Povish, of Coal Township, and John and Deb Henrich, of Huntingdon, are parents of the bridal couple.

Laurie Pensyl, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Moore, sister of the groom, and Megan Kriner, Miriam Millan, Dana Rutkowski and Esther Rhodes, all friends of the bride.

Bruce Henrich, brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Billy Zalinski, Chris "Gman" Gotaski, Paul Evans, Chuck Kowalchick and Justin Long, all friends of the groom.

Stephanie Pancher, cousin of the bride, was guest book attendant. Greeters were Delyn Moore, niece of the groom, and Garret Leshinskie, cousin of the bride. Dan Clark, cousin of the bride, was soloist.

The reception was held in Lazarski's Banquet Hall, Mount Carmel. Photos were by Silver Treasures, Shamokin.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

The bride, a 2001 graduate of Shamokin Area High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in 2005 from West Chester University. She is employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The groom, a 1999 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in 2003 from Lycoming College. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1997 to 2005. He is employed by Northumberland County.
